Cross Bay Gallery and Yoko Fukada introduce impressive Japanese HANGA print from the modern to the contemporary, to the Australian art world.
The collection is divided into two distinct groups-established artists and artists who are not yet internationally recognized. While the
latter group is less familiar abroad, its members have an established reputation within Japan. Fukada has selected their works to be
evaluated on the world stage alongside well-known artists Toshinobu Onosato, Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami and others to be enjoyed.
We put on display, for the first time in Australia, the works of nine prize-winning young Japanese artists. The exhibition includes the works
of well-known Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami and Lee Ufan.
